As part of the deal, Iluvlive will feature on Flava two times a day in two dedicated shows: the Iluvlive Showcase, a 10-minute round up of the last event; and Iluvlive Represents, four one-hour shows introduced by Ras Kwame featuring music videos and live performances.
Iluvlive said that the deal will give it a marketing platform to take its events to a wider audience, as well as investment to roll the brand out to larger quarterly events in London and nationwide.
Iluvlive owner Rachael Bee said, “After six years in the market this deal offered us the perfect opportunity to not only get the brand on television but also to grow in other areas. We have a very exciting year ahead.”
Iluvlive currently stages fortnightly events in London, hosted by Ras Kwame, with between six and eight acts playing a night. Since launching in 2004 it has showcased artists including Chipmunk, Tinchy Stryder, Katy B, Jesse J (pictured), Eliza Doolittle, Wretch 32 and Tinie Tempah.
Flava TV is available on Sky and Freesat. It is owned by CSC Media Group, whose portfolio of channels includes Bliss, Scuzz, NME and Dance Nation channels.
